TAM launches new service between Rio de Janeiro and Santiago

São Paulo, Brazil – TAM Airlines has started operating a new daily nonstop flight between Rio de Janeiro, Brazil (Galeão Airport) and Santiago, Chile.

São Paulo, Brazil – TAM Airlines has started operating a new daily nonstop flight between Rio de Janeiro, Brazil (Galeão Airport) and Santiago, Chile. On 2 January 2013, São Paulo will also receive another frequency to the Chilean capital, giving a total of three daily round trip flights.

The international routes are operated using A320 aircraft, with two cabin classes with the capacity for 156 passengers (12 seats in Business Class and 155 in Economy Class).

The Rio de Janeiro flight. departs daily at 15.08, arriving in Santiago at 18.58 local time. The Sanitago service departs daily at 07.15 am, arriving in Rio de Janeiro at 12.37 local time. The new São Paulo service, JJ 8072, will depart daily at 16.30, arriving in Santiago at 19.50 local time. A new service, JJ 8073, will also leave Santiago daily at 19.55, landing in São Paulo at 01.00 the following day.
