Kenya and Seychelles Tourism Ministers meet on sidelines of WTM

Tourism Ministers Danson M. Mwazo of Kenya and Alain St.Ange of the Seychelles met on the sidelines of World Travel Market (WTM) in London to see about meeting in the near future to discuss cooperation between the East African Hub of Kenya and the mid-ocean islands of the Seychelles.

Minister Danson M. Mwazo of Kenya is the new Minister of Tourism of Kenya, and this meeting with Minister Alain St.Ange was the first since his appointment.

Points talked about between the two Tourism Ministers included the armed bandits from Somalia, air access, and joint marketing activities to showcase safari and beach holidays, among others.

A follow-up meeting is being planned to take place in Nairobi in Kenya in the near future.

Seychelles is a founding member of the International Council of Tourism Partners (ICTP).
