This 3rd annual event celebrates Guam’s hot peppers, and feature food, entertainment, vendor sales, recipe contests, and even a crowning of Miss Donne’.

According to Lou Stein of the Guam Nurserymen’s Association, hot pepper, known locally as donne’, is practically a staple for Guam. The nurserymen’s association at this year’s festival will be showing and selling a variety of pepper plants, including what’s known as the hottest pepper in the world – the bhut jolokia, also known as the ghost pepper, which quickly is growing in popularity.
