The International Council of Tourism Partners (ICTP) has entered into a strategic partnership that is slated to further increase exhibitor participation at SATTE 2013 by attracting ICTP members, global destinations committed to quality services and green growth, to the event. With the objective of promoting India as a B2B travel and tourism destination, SATTE targets international, as well as national, tourism products and services to exhibit at the event.

Under the terms of the partnership, SATTE and ICTP will share resources and expertise to raise awareness about SATTE 2013 in the global travel trade market, as well as to enhance the quality and quantity of the international exhibitors’ participation at SATTE.

ICTP is a global alliance to support and promote destinations and stakeholders in selected destinations with a shared belief in well-managed travel and tourism as a driver of community business, jobs, well-being, and happiness. ICTP helps member destinations and their stakeholders share quality and green opportunities including tools and resources, access to funding, education, and marketing support.

“We see ICTP as an alternative to the other excellent bodies that are supporting the travel and tourism sector at public, private, and civil society level – internationally, regionally, nationally, and locally. We help ICTP members to amplify the benefits from participation in industry trade shows and events as our value-added support services,” Said Professor Geoffrey Lipman, President of ICTP.

Currently, ICTP has a membership base of close to 100 global destinations. Some of the members include Visit Belgium, Ghana Tourism Authority, The Gambia Tourism Board, Maharashtra Tourism Development Corporation (MTDC), Seoul Tourism Organization, Mauritius Tourism Promotion Authority, Seychelles Tourism Board, Visit California, Yemen Ministry of Tourism, Zimbabwe Tourism Authority, among others.
