Tourism group from Seychelles ready for INDABA

A Seychelles tourism delegation, led by the newly-appointed CEO of the Seychelles Tourism Board, is set to attend the prominent INDABA trade fair in Durban, South Africa, between May 12-15, 2012.

A Seychelles tourism delegation, led by the newly-appointed CEO of the Seychelles Tourism Board, is set to attend the prominent INDABA trade fair in Durban, South Africa, between May 12-15, 2012. She will be joined by David Germain, the Boardโ€™s Director of Africa, UAE and the Americas; Marsha Parcou, their Regional Manager for South Africa; and Olivia Alvis, their Graphics Designer.

INDABA is one of the largest tourism marketing events on the African calendar and one of the top three โ€œmust visitโ€ events of its kind on the global calendar. It showcases the widest variety of Southern Africa’s best tourism products and attracts international visitors and media from across the world. INDABA is owned by South African Tourism and organized by Witch & Wizard Creative (Pty) Ltd.
For two years in a row, INDABA has won the award for Africaโ€™s best travel and tourism show. This award was presented by the Association of World Travel Awards.

INDABA is a four-day trade event that attracts well over 13,000 delegates from the travel, tourism, and related industries.

Seychelles private sector companies who are working with the islandโ€™s Tourism Board to develop the South African Market and who will also be attending INDABA alongside their Tourism Board include Air Seychelles, represented by Deon Freemantle, the airlineโ€™s General Manager ([email protected]) and head of Sales & Distribution, Cindy Vidot ([email protected]).
