SAN FRANCISCO, CA – Virgin America today reported its preliminary operational results for November 2014 and the first 11 months of the year. The airline’s traffic (measured in revenue passenger miles) increased 9.8 percent on capacity (measured in available seat miles) that was 1.3 percent higher than the same month in 2013.
Load factor was 78.8 percent, up 6.1 points from November 2013. The number of onboard passengers increased 9.8 percent from the same month last year.
