Hilton Worldwide confirmed this week at the South America Hotel & Tourism Investment Conference hosted by HVS Argentina (SAHIC 2011) in Santiago, Chile, that the company’s expansion plans in Latin America are stronger than ever in the company’s 93-year history.
As conference patrons, Hilton Worldwide is committed to cementing its focus on Latin America as a target market for the company’s growth and reinforces its desire to introduce new Hilton Worldwide brands to new markets, proven by its recent opening of the Hilton Garden Inn Santiago Airport.
Hilton Worldwide currently has 45 hotels and resorts throughout Latin America with the following properties welcomed to the portfolio this year — Hilton Garden Inn Santiago Airport, Chile; DoubleTree by Hilton Queretaro, Mexico; and Hilton Garden Inn Tuxtla Gutierrez, Chiapas, Mexico. By the end of 2013, the company’s presence in Latin America is expected to surpass 60 hotels with a robust pipeline.
