SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – Virgin America today took the top honors for “Best Premium Class” among domestic airlines in Conde Nast Traveler’s 2011 Business Travel Poll.

The annual independent survey of the magazine’s business travelers ranked Virgin America as the top U.S. airline for Premium Class service for the fourth consecutive year, as reported in the October issue of Conde Nast Traveler โ€“ on newsstands September 20, 2011. To thank its loyal business flyers, the airline today launches a “Jet Back to Business” fare sale with low fares in both the airline’s Main Cabin and its premium Main Cabin Select service.

An independent firm asked over 25,000 Conde Nast Traveler readers identified as business travelers to rate hotels, airports and airlines on a variety of criteria. Final scores (out of 100) represent the percentage of readers who rated a hotel, airport, or airline “excellent” or “very good.” Virgin America rated an overall score of 90.2.

“We’re humbled that the discerning business travelers who fly the most have once again ranked our service the best in the domestic skies,” said Virgin America President and CEO David Cush. “Our goal is to keep our guests comfortable, connected and productive at 35,000 feet, and to many of our frequent travelers, our flights really do offer an office in the sky. In addition to the quality of service, we also believe we’re offering unrivalled value โ€“ with our Main Cabin Select service featuring amenities which most legacy airlines cannot duplicate in their First Class services.”
