President of Zambia H.E. Rupiah Bwezani Bandi keynote address on tourism, peace and climate change

He. Rupiah Bwezani Banda, president of The Republic of Zambia was the conference patron and host for the International Institute for Peace Through Tourism conference in Lusaka May 15-20.

He. Rupiah Bwezani Banda, president of The Republic of Zambia was the conference patron and host for the International Institute for Peace Through Tourism conference in Lusaka May 15-20.

Zambia last hosted the conference in 2005 and recognizes the important role that the Tourism Sector can plan in the economic and social development of Africa and the developing world. The president said in his remarks: “Tourism also helps to frostier peace in the world as every traveller is essentially a peace ambassador.”
