ANTALYA, Turkey and DUISBURG, Germany – alltours, the fourth-largest tour operator in Germany, brought more than 45,000 tourists to the Turkish Riviera last winter. This is more tourists than have ever been recorded since the founding of alltours in 1974. Sales and guest numbers have increased by 70% compared to the winter of 09/10.

“Our overall growth of 16% in sales and profit during the winter is primarily due to business in Turkey in addition to the above-average growth in Spain. Thanks to excellent hotels and outstanding spa facilities, the Turkish Riviera has long been a popular winter destination,” said alltours managing director Willi Verhuven.

alltours continues to invest in its Turkey program in order to secure long-term growth. The number of beds offered by alltours exclusively on the German market was increased by 20%. The signs point toward growth, even with flight planning. Additional full charter flights will fly to Antalya during summer. Due to the high demand, an additional three full charter flights from Hamburg (2) and Dรผsseldorf have already been put on sale for the autumn holiday flights.

The West Aegean is very popular in the Dutch market. For this reason, alltours has increased the number of airports with service to Izmir by 25% for the summer. In the summer, alltours will offer trips to the holiday area of Didim for the first time. alltours has also expanded its city hotel program in Bodrum. The “Blue Voyage” is also new to the program: a one-week holiday on a sailing vessel. The route runs along the impressive Taurus Mountains. “Not only have we achieved the best winter season in the company’s history, but we have also achieved the best Turkey winter season since our founding,” said alltours managing director Willi Verhuven.
