Passenger removed from United flight for “pleasuring himself in his seat”

A Florida man’s flight to Denver came to an unhappy ending when he was hauled off the flight after a female passenger spotted him apparently masturbating in his seat.

Kyle Pearce, 25, was arrested by the FBI when United Airlines Flight 340 landed in Denver from Spokane, Washington, on May 19.

An affidavit published by The Smoking Gun revealed the sordid details of his alleged lonely love-in.

In it, an 18-year-old female passenger sitting next to Pearce on the plane revealed her revulsion when she glanced over at him – and saw more than she ever would have wanted to see.

‘I heard a noise and looked over and saw his penis,’ the woman was quoted as saying in the criminal complaint.

‘He ejaculated and got some on the seat. Then he went to the bathroom for a long time.’

She said that Pearce, dressed in jeans tucked into cowboy boots and a jacket, had introduced himself to her as Kyle and said he was connecting to Orlando, Florida.

The unnamed woman was not the only passenger to be confronted with Pearce’s indecency.

Grayson Miller, 18, was sitting directly behind Pearce when his friend Zach turned him and said ‘That man is masturbating,’ he claimed in the affidavit.
‘In disbelief, I looked and saw his penis,’ Mr Miller continued.

‘I hit him with a book in the arm, which caused him to stop and leave to the bathroom.’

Now Pearce is facing up to 90 days in jail after he was charged with ‘obscene and indecent exposure of his person’ on an aircraft. He could also be fined up to $5,000.

The incident caps off a rough week for United after the airline was embroiled in a sensitivity row after it first accidentally reinstated the flight numbers of the aeroplanes used to carry out the 9/11 attacks.

The airline faced another PR nightmare just days later after placing a new ad near the Ground Zero site that declared: ‘You’re going to like where we land’.

On Pearce’s MySpace page he describes himself as a junior college student in Pensacola who has been a bull rider for eight years and is interested in women.

Since the May 19 incident, the plane in which Pearce is said to have pleasured himself has crossed America 12 times.

The plane, which apparently bears tail number N843UA, is en route from San Diego to Washington, DC today.
