SINGAPORE – Today Agoda.com and Delta Air Lines have joined hands in an agreement that benefits collectors of frequent flyer miles. And in today’s world, who doesn’t want a great deal with added benefits?

Through the partnership, Agoda.com, Asia’s global hotel booking site and part of Nasdaq-listed priceline.com Inc. (Nasdaq:PCLN), and Delta Air Lines (NYSE:DAL) offers members of SkyMiles Frequent Flyer Program the opportunity to earn miles from SkyMiles when they book a hotel through Agoda.com.

Delta Air Lines is the world’s largest air carrier, serving more than 160 million travelers a year. With a fleet of more than 700 aircraft, Delta has major international hubs in Amsterdam; Narita, Japan; and Paris, plus several hubs across the American continent. Delta’s network encompasses 346 destinations in 64 countries.

Now in its 30th year, SkyMiles is one of the longest-running and most successful loyalty programs in the travel industry. The program offers members multiple mileage-earning opportunities including 100% miles on every purchased fare when flying with Delta, Delta Shuttle, the Delta Connection, and by flying with SkyTeam® alliance partners. Additional mile-earning opportunities are offered through other airline partners, hotels, and bank partners, including the co-branded credit cards in Guam, South Korea, and the Philippines. Delta is introducing more ways to redeem miles, including airline tickets, car rentals, and hotel stays for customers.

Through a co-branded, multi-lingual landing page available in 5 languages, Delta customers are able to view Agoda.com’s inventory of more than 130,000 instantly-confirmable properties, allowing for easy, convenient hotel booking. For non-English speaking customers, Agoda.com offers hotel booking services in 32 different languages including Chinese traditional and simplified, Japanese, Korean, Thai, French, and German. Not only can Delta members earn SkyMiles by booking their hotels through Agoda, they will also earn Agoda Rewards Points, worth 4 percent the price of their stay.

Managing Director North Asia at Agoda.com Mr. Wilfred Fan said: “We are excited that through this partnership, Delta will use its extensive promotional and loyalty-based network to help their customers access the thousands of great hotel deals on Agoda.com. Our website and customer support operations are available in all languages spoken in Delta and SkyTeam’s Asian destinations.”
