Adrian Ellis, the General Manager of Corinthia Hotel Budapest, said: “We welcome this new, direct air access and hope it will boost the number of Americans visiting Budapest. Hopefully, more Americans will be able to take advantage of the wonderful long-weekend packages at the Corinthia Hotel Budapest.”

The Corinthia Hotel Budapest, also known affectionately by its historic name, the “Grand Hotel Royal,” is a city landmark. Its neo-classical facade, adorned with statues, columns, and cupolas, has graced Budapest’s fashionable thoroughfare, Erzsébet Avenue, for well over a century. It was reopened in 2002, having been faithfully restored to its former glory as Budapest’s leading luxury hotel, featuring a magnificent ballroom and the most extensive conference facilities in the city. With its lavish lobby, superb accommodation, a renovated 19th century spa, and various fine-dining options, it once more takes center stage, not only in this elegant imperial yet thoroughly modern city, but also among hotels throughout Europe. Since its re-opening, the Corinthia Hotel Budapest has received numerous awards and accolades for its architecture, cuisine, and world-class service. The hotel is owned by Malta-based International Hotel Investments (IHI) and operated by CHI Hotels & Resorts, a joint venture between IHI and the Wyndham Hotel Group.
