UGANDA (eTN) – Seats to and from Uganda will increase once again next year, when Dutch flag carrier KLM intends to add a 6th frequency on the route between Amsterdam and Entebbe. This information was obtained last week when discussing aviation matters with leading airline figures in Uganda, all of whom expressed satisfaction with their average load factors, in spite of new players now on the route like Turkish Airlines.

They also concluded that the special fares of the newcomers would not last for too much longer, as the peak travel season over the festive season would see those taken off the shelves, and with current aviation fuel prices remaining high and climbing higher yet in Entebbe, the wide differentials between those special fares and commonly-charged fares would also level out.
