BELLEVUE, Wash. – Expedia, Inc. today announced it has signed a long-term global agreement with Wyndham Hotel Group, the world’s largest hotel company with nearly 7,200 properties in 65 countries worldwide. Under this renewed agreement, Wyndham Hotel Group will continue to be available on more than 90 Expedia® and Hotels.com® sites in over 60 countries, as well as on more than 10,000 active affiliate sites through the Expedia Affiliate Network.

North America-based Wyndham Hotel Group is comprised of 12 hotel chains, including well-known brands like Wyndham Hotels & Resorts®, Ramada® and Days Inn®, and offers a wide selection of property types ranging from economy and midscale to upscale, resort and extended-stay.

“Expedia provides Wyndham Hotel Group with a valuable and efficient online distribution channel,” said Linda Kent, senior vice president of electronic distribution for Wyndham Hotel Group. “This agreement enables us to further build awareness and generate business for our brands and hotels.”

Thousands of hotel partners routinely participate in the promotional and merchandising opportunities available on Expedia and Hotels.com sites worldwide each month as a means of driving increased consumer awareness and incremental traveler demand.

“Our goal in establishing this alliance has been to provide Wyndham Hotel Group with an ever-evolving portfolio of distribution strategies to ensure it is effectively reaching travelers in a meaningful and cost-efficient manner,” said Melissa Maher, vice president of global strategic accounts and industry relations for Expedia. “Wyndham Hotel Group is a highly-respected international hotel company with an enviable global footprint that closely resembles our own, and we’re very pleased for the opportunity to continue developing what has become a highly beneficial relationship for us both.”
