FORT WORTH, Texas – American Eagle Airlines, the regional affiliate of American Airlines, has received government approval to begin daily nonstop jet service from Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) to two new destinations in Mexico. Beginning Feb. 10, Eagle will introduce daily flights to General Heriberto Jara International Airport (VER) in Veracruz, using 50-seat Embraer ERJ-145 jet aircraft; and Queretaro International Airport (QRO) in Queretaro, using 37-seat Embraer ERJ-135 jets.
“American Eagle is pleased to offer our customers two new destinations in Mexico,” said Gary Foss, Vice President โ Planning and Marketing for the AA Regional Network. “These daily nonstop flights will link customers from throughout Central Mexico and the Gulf Coast region with American’s largest hub, offering convenient connections throughout American’s global network.”
Veracruz is Mexico’s oldest and largest port city, catering to tourist and business travelers alike. Queretaro is a thriving inland community, dominated by manufacturing, commerce and tourism.
With 14 total daily flights to Mexico, Eagle also serves Aguascalientes, Leon (Guanajuato), Chihuahua, Guadalajara, San Luis Potosi and Torreon.
