Carnival boosts cruise job postings as it sets sail again
Carnival received a grant for door locks and assemblies to use in wireless guest engagement systems. The company applied for wireless guest engagement system and signal processing of a wireless guest engagement system and methods for making and using the same.
Additionally, in the light of a data breach in March 2021, potentially leaking personal information of its employees and customers, the company listed a senior level role for a ‘Data Privacy & Information Governance Manager’. The company looks to have monthly awareness campaigns, investigations, and resolutions on privacy incidents. Carnival also advertised a role for ‘Director, Marine Investigations’ to conduct independent investigations of higher level (Level 3) incidents and accidents for all operating lines.
With Carnival readying to start operations in a staggered phase, hiring could likely remain high to meet operational and management requirements. The company has already posted several senior-level jobs in general administration, human resources, finance and treasury, business development and port management to facilitate the resumption of operations.
