Following the introduction of Ryanair’s 100 percent online check-in service, the airline has now authorized third-party advertising on its boarding cards.

Ryanair mentioned that boarding card adverting allows a โ€œhighly valuable, targeted, integrated, advertising campaign.โ€

According to the airline, this will allow advertisers to reach the 73 million Ryanair passengers that will print their boarding cards on their own in the next 12 months.

Ryanairโ€™s new advertising service allows advertisers to reach a pan-European audience by integrating online and print advertising. Ryanair passengers refer to their boarding cards on a number of occasions during a trip โ€“ providing repeat exposure for advertisers, highlighted the airline.
