Desert safari adventures in India are fun and exciting experiences

India always impressed me; even after more than ten visits to this incredible country, each time I go there, I discover more attractions and return with wonderful memories.

India always impressed me; even after more than ten visits to this incredible country, each time I go there, I discover more attractions and return with wonderful memories.

This visit was a really fun and exciting experience in the Jaisalmer desert northwest of India in Rajasthan State, the land of the king.

Close to the Golden triangle of Delhi, Agra, and Jaipur where the past meets the present, you can enjoy visiting the memorial site of Mahatma Gandhi, Jama Masjid, Qutub Minar, the Taj Mahal, the fort and Palace of Moghul Empire, the Bird Sanctuary Park, Jaipur Fort and Palaces, and many other wonderful attractions. The latest attraction is the Sam Sand Dunes in Rajasthan, located 42 kms from Jaisalmer in the midst of the desert wilderness of the Thar Desert.

The inauguration of Indiaโ€™s first-ever international dune safari took place on February 27 in Jaisalmer under the patronage of the Honorable Minister of Tourism for India, Ms. Kumari Selja, and Ms. Bina Kak, Honorable Minister of Tourism for Rajasthan, with the attendance of dignitaries from India, UAE Government, Bollywood stars, travel trade, and media partners from India and abroad. ETurboNews attended the event that started with a visit to Jaisalmer city and itโ€™s commanding Fort etched in yellow sandstone stands with its entire awesome splendor dominating the amber-hued city, followed by 30 kms towards the sand dunes of Sam. We stopped to deflate the tires of the 4-wheel cars, then proceeded to the Sam Sand dunes where we experienced the thrill of a lifetime roller-coaster ride on the golden sand dunes, playing on the sands dunes, shooting photographs, and admiring the natural beauty of the desert, followed by visiting Lama Heritage Village where the inauguration took place. Their Honorable Ministers addressed the audience, followed by a speech from Mr. Kulwant Singh, managing partner of Lama Tours, who welcomed his guests, and then we enjoyed camel rides, soft drinks, Hubbly Bubbly, music, Rajasthan folklore, and a buffet dinner.

India is a world of resplendent colors and rich culture locales, be it magnificent monuments, heritage temples, or tombs. The countryโ€™s ancient culture heritage is inextricably linked to its technology-driven present existence. The co-existence of a number of religions and cultures, together with an awe-inspiring topography makes it the perfect place for a complete holiday experience. India has the right tourism potential and attractions to captivate all types of tourists, whether they seek an adventure tour, culture exploration, pilgrimages, visit to the beautiful beaches or the scenic mountain resorts, or simply a desert safari experience, which I now really recommend it to all tourists and travelers around the world.

Indiaโ€™s dune safari was really a wonderful and unforgettable experience with the hospitality of the kind people of India and friendly staff of Lama Tours PVT, Ltd., India.
