Seychelles tourism brings Easter joy to disadvantaged children

The Seychelles tourism industry is today playing its part to spread the joy of Easter to disadvantaged children staying at the President’s Village. The support for this joyous day came from the Berjaya Beau Vallon Bay Hotel & Casino where Ken Choo, the Resort’s GM, went out of his way to ensure that the whole contingent of kids living at the President’s Village of Port Glaud were able to appreciate the joy and fun of Easter.

Alain St.Ange, the Seychelles Minister of Tourism & Culture, personally turned up at the Berjaya Beau Vallon Bay Hotel & Casino at the invitation of the resort’s GM to pose for a souvenir picture with the group of kids from the President’s Village to mark the occasion. Minister St.Ange was joined by two big bunny rabbits, which entertained the kids and dished sweets out to them.

A full buffet lunch and soft drinks of their choice was also offered to the President’s Village kids with local musicians providing the entertainment during the whole afternoon.

Minister Alain St.Ange said as he was leaving the Kids Easter Party that it was encouraging to see a resort establishment work with the community to do such a social act. “It must be recognized that Ken Choo and his Berjaya Beau Vallon Bay Hotel & Casino take its social responsibility responsibilities to heart and ensure that the needy kids of our beautiful country are not left out at such important feasts like Easter. Ken must be congratulated. He finds a way to remain active in community-based activities, and he manages to always be ready to bring joy to the less fortunate,” Minister St.Ange said.

Ken Choo of the Berjaya Beau Vallon Bay Hotel & Casino received support from different organizations inclusive of Cable & Wireless Seychelles.
