Eurostar services between Brussels and the UK will be near normal on Monday, March 1, when the high-speed lines near the site of the recent train accident will re-open.

On Saturday and Sunday, there will be 5 direct services between Brussels and the UK. In addition, to ensure that customers get to their destination, these services will be reinforced by a shuttle coach service between Brussels-Midi and Lille Europe. Over the weekend, trains will be leaving Brussels 20 minutes earlier than the advertised time, and customers will be informed of this change to the timetable.

Eurostar thanks its customers for their patience during this period of disruption. Full details of services on Monday and over the weekend are available on http://www.eurostar.com/UK/uk/leisure/customer_care/questions_answers.jsp or by calling +44 (0) 1233 617 575 (from outside UK).

When services resume, a speed restriction will be in place in the Brussels area, which will add approximately 5 minutes to journey times. Passengers are advised that other short delays could still occur.

On Saturday, February 27 and Sunday, February 28, a small number of services will be replaced by Eurostar between Lille and London and a shuttle coach service. Passengers who decide not to travel on these days are being offered to exchange their tickets for a later travel date or for a full refund.

On Monday, March 1, the 07:59 Brussels to London service (Train no: 9113) is canceled. Customers with tickets for this train are advised to come to the station to travel on either the 06:59 (Train no: 9109) or the 09:29 (Train no: 9119) services to London. Space is available for these customers on these services. All other trains will operate.

On Tuesday, March 2, a full service between Brussels and UK is expected to operate.
