Vietnam visitors and residents warned to stay indoors due to poor air quality

Vietnamese authorities warned the visitors and the residents that they should spend less time outdoors, as air quality has deteriorated in Vietnam over the past few days.

This is especially true of two large cities – Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.

The government believes that air pollution is associated with low rainfall, as well as the fact that farmers burn rice residues after harvest to prepare for new plantings.
