Danish tourist found dead in Uganda, police say

KAMPALA, Uganda – The naked body of a Danish tourist was found in a suburb of Uganda’s capital with burns and deep cuts, police said Thursday.

Toke Lauritzen, 35, had been in Uganda for about a month and was staying at a backpackers’ lodge, police commander Edward Ochom said. A passer-by found the body in the bush, with his passport and other documents nearby, Ochom said.
