San Francisco Marriott Marquis announces new Senior Sales Executive

San Francisco Marriott Marquis announced the appointment of Shawn Pace as the property’s new senior sales executive. A hospitality industry veteran with two decades of experience, Pace will be responsible for growing group business from the US Midwest.

Having built much of his career with multiple Marriott Brands since 2001, Pace is experienced with contract negotiations, team leadership, account management and business development.

Pace comes to the Marriott Marquis San Francisco most recently from the Koloa Landing Resort in Poipu where he was director of national accounts from 2017 – 2019. A luxury Autograph Collection resort on the south end of Kauai, Pace was responsible for booking group business from the Western United States and Canada.

Pace is a proud graduate of Louisiana State University where he received a Business of Arts degree in business, history and political science. When he’s not working, he enjoys spending time with his teenage children, enjoys the outdoor sports skiing or scuba diving, cooking, and brewing beer.
