Marriott International has signed an agreement for its first Ritz-Carlton hotel in Bangkok with the property owner, One Bangkok Co Ltd
The joint venture between TCC Assets and Frasers Property will build a 50-level tower block known as “One Bangkok lifestyle development” located on the city’s Wireless Road.
Construction of the mixed-use tower that will house the Ritz-Carlton Bangkok on 25 floors has already commenced.
“We are thrilled to announce our first Ritz-Carlton hotel in the dynamic capital of Thailand, a country where we currently operate two Ritz-Carlton resorts,” said Marriott International Asia Pacific president and managing director, Craig Smith.
Overlooking the city’s Lumpini Park, Ritz-Carlton Bangkok will open in 2023 with 259 rooms, including 33 suites.
Currently, Marriott operates Ritz-Carlton Samui and Phulay Bay a Ritz-Carlton Reserve.
