Advantage Travel Partnership has announced Monty Halls will be the keynote speaker at its sixth dedicated Cruise Conference in Southampton, 03 – 04 March 2019 at the Novotel Hotel.
A former Royal Marines Officer who worked for Nelson Mandela during the peace process in the early nineties, Monty left the forces to pursue a career in expeditions, travel journalism, and marine biology. Monty has since led teams in some of the most challenging environments on Earth, presented numerous multi award-winning documentaries, launched his own production company, and become a renowned inspirational speaker and writer. He has also developed a one-of-a-kind leadership and team building system for the professional and education sectors. In partnership with Silversea Cruises, Monty will address the Advantage Cruise Conference to talk about his life story and his personal experiences from past expeditions around the world.
The Advantage Cruise Conference continues to evolve to ensure delegates have a unique experience each year, with 2019 being no exception as attendees will be going onboard brand new MSC Bellisima in a preview sailing on the evening on Sunday 03 March.
Whilst on dry land, delegates will have plenty of time for networking with cruise line partners at the speed dating sessions, a keynote speech from Monty, and the eagerly awaited cruise awards. Plus, a series of conference sessions will focus on and challenge a number of topics happening within the cruise sector today.
Senior commercial manager Claire Brighton said: “Monty Halls is a fantastic speaker and we’re delighted he can join us to talk about the destinations he has travelled to and the importance of looking after our world and environment. The cruise industry is important to our members, as it is a sector that continues to grow, this conference will allow our cruise champions and members that are new to the cruise business to be inspired, develop greater knowledge and new contacts to grow their cruise businesses and stay ahead of their competition. The opportunity to see a new ship, MSC Bellisima, on its first visit to the UK will certainly be a big draw and a highlight for delegates attending.”
