Only one could win: Air Austral & Air Mauritius go for Kenya Airways

Air Austral and Air Mauritius were pitching themselves to be seen as the ideal working partner for Kenya Airways.

Finally, it was confirmed by Le Quotidien of Reunion the it was the Reunion Company Air Austral that was the successful bidder.

The “privileged partnership” agreement signed between Air Austral and Kenya Airways provides for new opportunities for Reunionais travelers.

A new direct air service between the Indian Ocean Reunion Island and Kenya is expected to be operational in 2019.
