Earthquake rocks Mexican tourist mecca

Mexico City – A moderate earthquake has rocked Mexico near the popular Puerto Vallarta tourist mecca.

The U.S. Geological Survey says the shaker had a magnitude of five-point-five.

The U.S. Geological Survey says the shaker had a magnitude of five-point-five.

The epicenter was about 175 miles southeast of Puerto Vallarta.

An official with the civil protection office in that city says the quake wasn’t felt there and no damage has been reported.
