A strong 6.1 earthquake struck Vanuatu islands today, Thursday, June 21, 2018, at 21:13:32 UTC, 21 miles from Port Vila.

There have been no reports of damages or injuries, and no tsunami warning has been issued.

The earthquake depth was measured at 31 km at the following distances:

โ€ข 231 km (144 miles) NW (325 degrees) of Isangel, Vanuatu

โ€ข 1877 km (1167 miles) ENE (58 degrees) of Brisbane, Australia
