Jet Airways confirmed that it received yesterday, August 24, 2009, a notice of strike of all its members from the National Aviator’s Guild (NAG), a newly-constituted body of some of its pilots. The notice indicated a strike would occur as soon as September 7, 2009 or soon thereafter.
This notice has been taken up for conciliation by the Regional Labor Commissioner (Central).
