TOKYO, Japan – Hawaiian Airlines said Monday it will start operation of daily flights between Kansai International Airport near Osaka and Honolulu from July 13, expecting more Japanese and Asian travelers to visit Hawaii.
The Osaka-Honolulu route will be the second regular flight for the airline in Japan following its first launched last November between Tokyo’s Haneda Airport and Honolulu.
Hawaiian Airlines said it expects a growing number of passengers from the Kansai region, as well as those who transfer to or from domestic or international flights, such as those linked with South Korea or China, to use its services.
The flight to Honolulu will leave every day from the Japanese airport at 9:30 p.m.
