Tourism Minister Stas Misezhnikov has asked Defense Minister Ehud Barak to instruct army officials to refrain from discussing the security situation on the media, “as this harms Israel’s image.”

Misezhnikov wrote in a letter to Barak that “the talks about war on the northern border are unnecessary and harm tourism.” He sent the letter following Brigadier-General Alon Friedman’s interview to British Time newspaper.
