US Airways Group Inc. will launch daily, nonstop service between Charlotte, N.C., and Honolulu on Dec. 17.

The flight will be on a Boeing 767 aircraft with seating for 18 in first-class and 186 in the main cabin.

Oahu is the third new nonstop destination from US Airways’ Charlotte hub to be added this year.
