Oyster Bay Resort, known to some as the “Pearl of the Caribbean,” announced its Grand Reopening will be taking place on June 1, 2018.

The resort has been rebuilding and renovating since Hurricane Irma struck this past September, and Phase 1 of reconstruction is on schedule and guest reservations are being taken.

The first phase of renovations included work on the infinity pool and hot tub, restaurant and bar, and lobby and courtyard. Forty units in mainsail have been beautifully restored along with 24 units in the marina front building, 9 units in the pool/ocean front building, and 12 units in the lobby/reception building. Also restored are the fitness room, guest laundry, the Shipwreck Shop, Bodega by the Bay, and the Indulgence by the Sea Spa.

Shipwreck Shop

Shipwreck Shop

The Shipwreck Shop is open daily and offers an array of items, gifts, souvenirs, bathing attire, sunscreen, and almost any other personal item guests may need during their stay. It’s like taking a trip to Phillipsburg, but without the drive. Stop in, check it out, and find treasures to take home that will remind you of paradise.

Bodega by the Bay

Bodega by the Bay

Bodega by the Bay is located at the entrance pier to the Oyster Bay Marina, and the resort’s “corner grocery store” that offers not only full-service groceries, take-out lunches, gourmet selections, and champagne for a special occasion, but it also serves as a great place to get together, lounge in the ultra- comfortable outside umbrella-covered veranda, sip fine coffee and espresso, eat fresh-baked croissants and watch the nautical operations on Oyster Pond, which is home to 3 different marinas. It’s a “low- impact” activity that is very popular among resort guests.

Indulgence by the Sea Spa

Indulgence by the Sea Spa

Indulgence by the Sea Spa is just steps away from resort rooms and is the resort’s full-service, on-site spa. Here, spa staff will pamper guests with a signature Citrus-C manicure and pedicure; rejuvenate skin with a Mango Papaya Salt Glow; or indulge with a 4-hour body renewal package. When the full-service spa is combined with the laid-back Caribbean lifestyle, guests return home fully rested, relaxed, and renewed in mind, body, and spirit.
