Voted by New York City residents as the city’s “Best Kid Fest”, Children’s Day and Fireworks at South Street Seaport returns for its 16th anniversary on Saturday, June 13. The annual day-long event in lower Manhattan is renowned for its wide array of free family-oriented entertainment, which includes performances by recording artists Robbert Bobbert and the Bubble Machine among others, as well as story times and photo appearances by a cast of well-known children’s characters. The day concludes with an evening concert and two barges of Zambelli Fireworks, courtesy of Target.
