An airline that flies from the Isle of Man has imposed salary cuts on all of its staff, impacting Manx workers.
Aer Arann said it would cut the average salary by 7%, and by 17% for executives and high-wage earners.
The Irish airline said the salary reductions were “regrettable” but were happening across the airline industry.
Last year, Aer Arran announced it was cutting up to 100 jobs but said on Tuesday that this figure had now been reduced to about 60.
The new Isle of Man to London City Airport route played a part in allowing the company to restructure the redundancies, it said.

Aer Arann chief executive Paul Schütz said: “We cannot stand still as the economy finds its level.
“That means controlling our costs while at the same time continuing to improve the level of service that we offer our customer.”
He added that the redundancy process was nearly over and that the cuts were part of its business model to better position the company in the economic crisis.
Aer Arran employs 17 staff at its Isle of Man base.
