For the sixth year in a row, visit.brussels is organising the European Association Summit: (EAS) in Brussels on 8-9 March 2018. The event has become indispensable in terms of exchanging information, sharing knowledge, and networking for international associations. Once again the schedule extends over two days. The latest trends and the biggest questions facing the association community will be tackled there under the theme of: “Engage, collaborate, and innovate”

As is the case each year, the summit is held in close cooperation with the sector’s major players: ESAE (European Society of Association Executives), FAIB (Federation of European & International Associations Based in Belgium), and UIA (Union of International Associations).

For this latest edition, partnerships have formed in order to broaden the range of subjects under discussion and offer new perspectives on them. SOLVAY (Solvay Brussels School โ€“ Economics & Management), PCMA (Professional Convention Management Association), and ICCA (International Congress and Convention Association) have joined the event for this reason.

30 participants have already confirmed their attendance. Among those attending:

โ€ข Zsuzsanna Bรณdi, for the European Network of Living Labs (ENoLL);
โ€ข Jimena Gomez de la Flor, for the European Flavour Association (EFFA)
โ€ข Danielle Michel, for ACI EUROPE (Airports Council International).

During this gathering, Regions Committee (CdR) president Karl-Heinz Lambertz will ultimately address lessons and best practices in terms of cross-border cooperation within the European Union.

As the number one destination for international associations, it is only fitting that Brusselsorganise a convention crafted by their own. The event showcases a series of topics and speakers sharing their experience with an audience on the lookout for new knowledge.
