AMSTERDAM – A spokeswoman for KLM said the Dutch airline is among those companies involved in an EU probe into anti-competitive practices on routes between Europe and Japan.
‘The airline is fully cooperating with the inquiry,’ she added.
KLM’s parent company Air France-KLM (NYSE:AKH WS) (OOTC:AFLYY) had earlier declined to comment on whether it was involved in the investigation.
The European Commission said its officials have carried out unannounced inspections today at the premises of a number of international airline passenger carriers.
German carrier Deutsche Lufthansa AG confirmed its Frankfurt offices have been searched today.
