Equatorial Guinea tourism gets a boost with Presidential Award

On the sidelines of the 72nd Session of the United Nations General Assembly, His Excellency, Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, President of Equatorial Guinea, Father and Architect of modern Equatorial Guinea and Founder of Party Democratico Guinea Ecuatorial (PDGE) received Black History Month USA 2017 Person of the Year Award on Wednesday.

Equatorial Guinea tourism sector has become one of the most promising African destinations. From birdwatching, eco-tourism, adventure travel, championship golf courses, white sand beaches, and local stability has made this an ideal choice to visit.

The purpose of Black History Month USA is to expand America’s commemoration in February by highlighting one African country every year for 365 days. Founded in 1994, this activity is being coordinated by US based South African Arts International, Ltd. (SAAI) with aim of increasing tourism, foreign direct investments, educational and cultural partnerships in African countries.
