The Ministry of Communications and Works and Hermes Airports, Operator of the Cyprus airports, signed a commercial agreement which regulates the incentive scheme, offered to airlines with International Airports in Cyprus

The scheme which covers the period 2018-2023 is offered to all the airlines that meet the relevant criteria.

As it is well known, both Hermes and the Ministry of Transport, Communications, and Works have firmly supported the steady strengthening of the air connectivity of Cyprus, the introduction of new routes at Larnaka and Pafos airports, as well as boosting the country’s tourism industry.

It is anticipated that through the implementation of the new incentive schemes a significant number of airlines will benefit, a fact which over the years has contributed to the increase of flights from existing markets, the development of new markets and the strengthening of winter tourism.

More information and details about the incentive schemes of Larnaka and Pafos airports will be available on Cyprus airports website www.hermesairports.com.
