Vietjet receives international recognition

Vietjet’s 2016 annual report was recently honored the Platinum Award at the Vision Awards 2016 by the League of American Communications Professionals (LACP). The report ranked 4th among the Asia Pacific region’s awardees and 11th in the top 100 worldwide rank.

Themed “the flight to the future”, the 150-page annual report was graded with almost perfect scores of 99 out of 100 under the criteria of First Impression (30/30); Report Cover (10/10); Letter to Shareholders (10/10); Report Narrative (10/10); Report Financials (10/10); Creativity (10/10); Message Clarity (10/10) and Information Accessibility (9/10).

The airline’s annual report was also awarded with many class-specific prizes for its creativity and sustainability.
Mr. Tyson Heyn, Principal of LACP congratulated Vietjet on winning LACP’s Annual Report Competition which recognised the airline for a job well-done. “Viejet’s report demonstrated exceptional characteristics which set it apart as one to truly be celebrated,” he said.

The Vision Awards 2016 received nearly 1,000 entries worldwide. Honoured within the first year of the airlines’ listing on the Stock Exchange, the award emphasises Vietjet’s outstanding performance, endless creativity, spirit and mission of the world’s favoured new-aged carrier. It also stresses the clarity in the airline’s business management and operation under international standards, and dedication to bringing more benefits to its passengers, investors and the general masses.
