5W Public Relations CEO selected as semi-finalist for Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year 2010


Ronn Torossian, president & CEO of 5W Public Relations, was selected today as a semi-finalist for the 2010 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year awards, New York region. According to Ernst & Young LLP, the awards program recognizes entrepreneurs who demonstrate extraordinary success in the areas of innovation, financial performance, and personal commitment to their businesses and communities.

Torossian has been recognized by Ernst & Young as a 2010 semi-finalist for Entrepreneur of the Year in the New York region for his accomplishments in building 5WPR to one of the 15 largest independent PR agencies in the United States. An independent judging panel comprised of regional business, academic, and community leaders evaluated nominees based on several selection criteria, such as management style/team building; corporate culture; personal and professional accomplishments; determination, ethics and drive; company profitability and fiscal resourcefulness; product innovation; and contribution to the local community.

The finalists for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year award will be announced on May 7, 2010 followed by an Awards Banquet on June 15, 2010.
