Interjet announces new routes between Canada and Mexico

Interjet is introducing service from Canada to Mexico this summer. Starting July 13, 2017, Interjet will fly nonstop between Montréal’s–Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport and Mexico City’s Aeropuerto Internacional Benito Juárez as well as between Montréal and Cancun International Airport.

“Our unique brand of lower fares with free checked bags using our Priority fare, more legroom between seats and great service has been embraced everywhere we fly,” said José Luis Garza, Interjet’s CEO. “And Interjet is now in Canada to offer more choices and competition between the Canadian market and Mexico,” he added.

Interjet’s Canada-Mexico flights will operate as follows:

Interjet’s Montréal services will be operated using Airbus A320 aircraft with 150 seats. The initial schedule will be for three frequencies per week at convenient departure times.
