Cologne Bonn Airport launches third London link

Celebrating the arrival of its latest new airline partner, Cologne Bonn Airport launched a direct service to London Southend on 1 May with Stobart Air, operated by Flybe.

Immediately gaining a 7% share of flights and seats across all routes served to the UK, the addition of Flybe’s six times weekly service means the German airport now offers over 16,000 weekly seats to London.

Commenting on the new route development, Ulrich Stiller, Director Marketing & Sales, Cologne Bonn Airport, said: “Passengers travelling from Cologne Bonn to London now have another airport to choose from. We are very pleased that London Southend joins London Stansted and London Heathrow.”
