Philippine Airlines has filed an operational schedule for charter service between Manila and Jeju Island in South Korea, scheduled to fly twice a week beginning on April 6 using an A320 aircraft.
Jeju is a popular tourist destination in South Korea, and is known for its beach resorts and volcanic landscape of craters and cavelike lava tubes. Hallasan Mountain, a dormant volcano, features hiking trails, a crater lake at the 1,950-meter summit and nearby Gwaneumsa Temple.
