Reaffirming its commitment to its staff, Dusit Thani Plc (DTC) will maintain its “no lay-off” employment policy in preparation for transferring employees during a construction period of a new project due to begin next year.

True to its mission, Dusit Thani works to empower its people to exceed expectations. The company believes that to be the best, it must first look within, and it recognizes that happy employees equal happy guests. The company is proud to provide every member of the Dusit family with the skills and knowledge they need to deliver personalized service and extraordinary experiences while feeling secure in their jobs.

The Dusit Thani Bangkok will continue to operate as usual until June 30, 2018, and then beginning the following month, all staff will continue to be employed and allocated to other properties. The company said it has prepared plans and projects for all its staff during the construction period of the new development.

Dusit Thani will at that time begin a mixed-use project in parternship with CentralPattana Plc. The project will feature a hotel, residences, retails space and office, plus green space. The goal is to develop a project that benefits tourists as well as the general public.

The estimated value of the project is 36.7 billion baht, of which 60% will come from Dusit Thani and 40% from Central Pattana. The location of the project is at the epicenter of the metropolis in the heart of the business and retail districts, and it is conveniently located at the intersection of multiple mass transit systems.
