Plane crash in Southern California: At least one dead

A Cessna 310 crashed into a two houses in Southern California shortly after it took off from Riverside Municipal Airport. The plane was heading to San Jose.

A Cessna 310 crashed into a two houses in Southern California shortly after it took off from Riverside Municipal Airport. The plane was heading to San Jose.

Witnesses said a woman crawled from one of the houses with her clothes on fire, saying she was the pilot of the aircraft.


According to report, at least one person has died and five were injured. Fire Captain Tyler Reynolds of Riverside stated that there were four people on board. It was not clear if the person who died was in one of the houses or on the plane.

It is not yet known what caused the plane to crash.
