Dominican Republic Tourism is looking forward to CARNIVAL Cruise Lines’ Bare Necessities “Big Nude Boat” cruise. Tourists on this cruise have the chance to relax onboard Carnival Pride wearing nothing but a smile.

More than 3,000 nudists visited Puerto Plata aboard the cruise ship Carnival Pride on Saturday. The mighty Dollar made it possible.

Although cruise- passengers do have to wear clothes for the specialty dining rooms, evening entertainment includes James Bond: Undressed to Kill.

The nine-night round-trip from Tampa, Florida calls at Key West then heads out to the Bahamas to the private Half Moon Cay resort – which will be a nudist colony for the day – and on to Grand Turk island followed by a call at the new resort of Amber Cove near the Dominican Republic’s Puerto Plata.

Cruise nudist will “naturally pause the use of Adam’s suit” during their tour of the destination. None of the nudist visitors will be able to get off the boat without clothes not even within the Maimon terminal and much less visit the city in a state of nudity.
It’s the first time a ship with nude passengers docks at the Amber Cove cruise terminal since it started operations on October 6, 2015.

More than 470,000 cruise passengers visited Carnival’s cruise port at Maimon last year, and took in the attractions of the Dominican Republic north coast’s major tourism destination
