The theme state of Jharkhand will focus on the many festivals and fairs, said R. Sharma, Tourism Secretary of the State, at the media preview of India’s Surajkund International Crafts Mela on January 31.
About 1.5 million visitors are expected to come to the fair and interact with the artists and buy their products. Elaborate security arrangements have been made to protect those attending.
