Mardiks Public Relations has been hired by Thomas Cook Group Airlines to launch new routes to Europe from the US for two of the company’s carriers, Condor Airlines and Thomas Cook Airlines. The agency has been tasked with developing and implementing a consumer and trade media outreach campaign in advance of the 2017 summer travel season.
The campaign will center on Condor’s new routes to Frankfurt from San Diego, New Orleans and Pittsburgh and Munich routes from Las Vegas and Seattle. With these new routes, Condor Airlines expands its North American footprint to a total of 16 markets. Mardiks Public Relations will also launch new Thomas Cook Airlines’ Manchester service from San Francisco.
Thomas Cook Group Airlines has seen a surge in flights and holidays to and from North America. Passenger numbers from North America to Europe on Thomas Cook Group Airlines have more than doubled (+140%) in the last three years, with nine newly introduced routes within that period. More than one million Thomas Cook passengers will have used the airline’s services via the North Atlantic during this year’s winter and summer season.
The Thomas Cook Group Airlines is part of the Thomas Cook Group, plc. and includes four leisure-focused airlines: Thomas Cook Airlines UK, Thomas Cook Airlines Belgium, Thomas Cook Airlines Scandinavia and Condor Airlines. The airlines carry 16.7 million passengers per year to around 100 destinations.
Routes to Germany are served by Condor Airlines. The route network includes easy connections to more than 230 destinations through cooperations with airlines such as Alaska Airlines, Lufthansa, Swiss, Finnair, WestJet and more. Condor is a participant in the Miles and More frequent flyer program. Thomas Cook Airlines operates from 20 airports across the UK. The leisure airlines have won numerous awards in recent years, including the award for “Service Champion 2016” in the Gold Category for Condor and “World’s Leading Charter Airline” for Thomas Cook Airlines this year.
Condor offers value-oriented, full-service fares from the U.S. in three classes of service, Economy, Premium and Business. Thomas Cook Airlines offers value-oriented fares from the U.S. in two classes of service Economy and Premium.
